Admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in July 2024, Isabel holds a practising certificate but is not currently practising as a lawyer. She brings more than 30 years’ experience in senior and general management roles, with extensive background in sales, marketing, freight, distribution, logistics, and supply chain operations.
Specialising in Employment Relations and Human Resources, Isabel has spent over two decades working alongside organisations across the public and private sectors. Her work centres on governance, employment and people matters, mediation, workplace processes, and supporting boards, schools, and early learning services to navigate complex situations with clarity, care, and sound process—particularly within the education sector.
Her approach is grounded in manaakitanga, tikanga Maaori, and Te Ao Maaori principles, recognising the importance of relationships, context, and collective responsibility. This lens supports respectful engagement, fair process, and outcomes that are durable and appropriate for both people and organisations.
Alongside her advisory work, Isabel brings strong commercial and operational capability from managing small to medium-sized businesses in New Zealand for both New Zealand and Australian owners. This includes end-to-end supply chain experience and importing across China, Germany, and Australia.
